I continue to be fascinated by research that tells us how powerfully good exposure to nature is for human beings. I'm beginning to think of nature as a magic potion, which if we dose ourselves regularly, can improve our health, mood and sense of ourselves. This piece on the power of awe resonated with me after I went hiking in the East Bay hills, which are positively adorned with wildflowers, this weekend.
